A traditional class for everyone! A slow and gentle class which incorporates movement, breathwork, and applying it into your everyday life, in order to obtain the full benefits. Madan originally from Nepal where Buddaha was born. He brings to us a practice that was passed down to him from his family. Madan works with the Child & Family Services (the Government of Alberta) and Calgary Men’s Action Network. He has a variety of international experiences working with Nepal’s Ministry of Education, UNICEF, Save the Children US, Norway and Japan where he was engaged with corporal punishment, bullying, peace education and non-violent teaching techniques. Madan is also a Yoga Instructor who has served to various people in the community by teaching Yoga.
YOGA FOR DUDES
This men's only class is designed to allow men to challenge themselves in an environment by themselves to discover the new path to yoga. It increases flexibility, mobility, and helps to strengthen creating more power, balance and control. While men are allowed and encouraged to any of the classes, this one is just for them.
GENTLE RESTORE & YOGA THRIVE
This class is designed for anyone who needs to slow down, may have physical ailments, and just wants to feel rejuvenated, relaxed in a non competitive environment. This class has an Iyengar influence and props are usually used in the restorative poses, as support helps to create release. Some strength building poses. however the majority of the poses help to find releases throughout the body. It also accomodates and assists cancer survivors in any stage of survivorship, those that are on or off treatment to assist in the mental well being, and building strength and flexibility.

A beautiful complement to any pregnancy. You will be guided through mindful postures to ease the discomforts of pregnancy, breath work to prepare for birth, and meditations to connect with your growing baby. Beginnners and women in all trimesters are welcome to join!
A slow paced practice with poses that are held for longer amounts of time. Yin yoga poses help to deepen into the connective tissues of the body-the tendons, fascia, and ligaments-with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
Find balance between Yin & Yang. As you explore your personal boundaries with they dynamic practice of power, to help strengthen and tone your muscles, increase flexibility ad encourage personal empowerment. We will then slow it down while focusing on long holds, and focus on the breath and stillness of mind. Together Yin & Yang create the perfect balance for the body mind and soul.
TRUNORTH KIDS Ages 6-9 Amanda always makes this class fun and playful as children learn some of the basic principles of yoga in a way that promotes creativity.
TRUNORTH TWEENS Ages 10-12 While still a fun class, Amanda allows the children to take a larger part in the participation of leading meditations and explore yoga in their bodies and minds.
